Misaligned eyes

Besides nearsightedness and farsightedness, children are also subject to other eye conditions, such as amblyopia which causes strabismus (lazy or crossed eyes).

Many of these problems become more difficult to successfully treat with age. Dr. Affleck has the compassion and patience required to successfully work with children and to help them feel comfortable and relaxed. This way, they can receive an accurate diagnosis and the required treatment to achieve eye health.

Tiffany’s family first came to see Dr. Affleck when her twin sons were toddlers. Both were crossing their eyes. After months of treatment, one son’s condition was corrected. However, the other son required surgery to correct his condition.
