Aaron J. Affleck, MD received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School (part of Rosalind Franklin University), which carries a national reputation in advanced medical and healthcare education. He completed his ophthalmology residency training and was honored as Chief Resident at Kresge Eye Institute/Wayne State University in Detroit. This institute is recognized both nationwide and globally for being a leader in the field of medical eye care and training. In addition, this training program focuses heavily on Laser Vision Correction Surgery (LASIK & PRK). His mission throughout residency was to train general ophthalmologists in such a way that their skills would include more specialized care, including pediatrics care, droopy eyelids, blocked tear ducts, lazy eyes, and glaucoma.

Our office is nestled between the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) and Mountain View/Community Hospital. The location is convenient and just down the road from the facility where Dr. Affleck preforms his surgical treatments.

The 4 exam rooms are a short distant from the lobby and all areas are wheelchair friendly. Please, feel free to ask to use the facility’s wheelchair. We strive for comfortable exam rooms with toys for entertaining small children and several guest chairs.
